At 11:14 on January 15, 2023, the Long March 2D carrier rocket successfully launched 14 satellites into space at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.
Emposat provided Telemetry, Tracking & Command (TT&C) services for a total of 13 satellites, including Qilu-2, Qilu-3, Intelligent Remote Sensing Satellite 01, Golden Bauhinia Satellite 3, Golden Bauhinia Satellite 4, Golden Bauhinia Satellite 6, Jilin-1 Gaofen 03D34, Jilin-1 MF02A03, Jilin-1 MF02A04, Jilin-1 MF02A07, Wolfman satellite, Haihe-1 satellite, Tianzhi-2 D.
The satellite users this time came from 6 units including Aerospace Dongfanghong, Shanghai Port Aviation Science and Technology, and Shandong Industry and Research Satellite Research Institute. The mission involved a wide range of users, and the software and hardware interfaces were complex. Emposat conducted careful deployment in combination with the characteristics of different satellites to successfully guarantee the multi-satellite TT&C mission with one rocket.
In the early orbit segment mission, starting at 11:28, several sets of equipment deployed by Emposat in Southeast Asia successively received satellite-rocket separation telemetry data from the Intelligent Remote Sensing Satellite 01, Qilu-2, and Qilu-3, and successfully completed the mission. It is worth mentioning that the tracking time of the Intelligent Remote Sensing Satellite 01 was five minutes, the tracking time of the South American station was ten minutes, the tracking time of the Xinjiang station was ten minutes, and the tracking time of the satellite's first pass was up to 25 minutes.
The Golden Bauhinia Constellation is planned by the Hong Kong Aerospace Science and Technology Group. It aims to build an all-day, all-weather, near-real-time dynamic monitoring service system that is not affected by weather conditions such as clouds and rain, and provide satellite remote sensing services and smart city overall solutions to the world. During this mission, Emposat served the Golden Bauhinia Satellite III, Golden Bauhinia Satellite IV, and Golden Bauhinia Satellite VI, and will continue to provide more support for the in-orbit operation of the Golden Bauhinia Constellation in the future.
Intelligent Remote Sensing Satellite 01 is a new generation of intelligent surveying, mapping and remote sensing scientific experiment satellite. The satellite has the capabilities of real-time data acquisition, on-orbit real-time processing and application terminal real-time transmission. Emposat will give full play to the space-ground information coordination ability and cooperate with the Intelligent Remote Sensing Satellite 01 to help the construction of China's space information network.
Up to now, Emposat has accumulatively provided paid services to 213 satellites/rockets.
