Emposat provides TT&C services for the first domestic commercial satellite to enter orbit on a cargo spacecraft!

At 06:02 on November 14, 2022, Zhixing-3A satellite ejected from the Tianzhou-4 cargo spacecraft, the satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit. Emposat provides satellites with on-orbit testing after starship separation and TT&C services in the long-term management phase of satellites.
This is the first time that Emposat provides TT&C services for a domestic commercial satellite that has entered orbit on a cargo spacecraft. Zhixing-3A satellite has a relatively low orbital altitude, and the TT&C pass of each orbit is relatively short, which puts forward higher requirements on the orbit determination and forecasting ability of the TT&C team. Relying on the advantages of rich ground station resources distributed at home and abroad, Emposat adopts the multi-site continuous relay mode, which effectively guarantees the TT&C duration of the key pass of starship separation and the reliability of satellite TT&C after separation. In the first pass of the separation of the starship, Emposat deployed a total of 10 sets of equipment in 5 places including Azerbaijan, provided more than 20 minutes of tracking time, and successfully ensured that the satellite entered orbit.
Zhixing-3A was developed by Beijing Smart Satellite Space Technology Co., Ltd. and launched in Wenchang on May 10 on Tianzhou cargo spaceship. Following the cooperation between Zhixing 1A and Zhixing 3A missions, Emposat will continue to provide TT&C services for Zhixing 2A. Up to now, Emposat has accumulatively provided 174 satellites/rockets for services.
