At 16:00 on May 21, 2023, the Luojia 2-01 satellite was launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on a Long March 2C Y60 carrier rocket. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success. As the overall Telemetry, Tracking & Command (TT&C) unit, Emposat exclusively provided satellite TT&C services.
In the active phase of the launch, Emposat deployed 5 sets of equipment including Ningxia Station and Heilongjiang Station to complete the emergency support tasks of the active phase; in the satellite orbit section, Heilongjiang station, Fujian station and other equipment of Emposat provided orbit tracking TT&C services for the satellite rocket separation, and successfully ensured the smooth entry of the satellite; in the first round of missions, Emposat South America Station, Central Asia Station, Ningxia Station, Yunnan Station and other equipment completed the TT&C tasks. The tracking service was provided for nearly 30 minutes in total for the first pass, which provided strong support for the status judgment of the satellite after it entered orbit. In the future, Emposat will continue to provide satellites with on-orbit testing, data transmission reception and satellite long-term management services.
It is reported that the Luojia 2-01 satellite was developed by Wuhan University and is mainly used to verify the functions of the new SAR remote sensing system radar technology and navigation enhancement technology.
Emposat will continue to deploy the company's domestic and foreign ground station network resources, support the TT&C of Luojia 2-01 satellite, and provide better and more reliable services for the construction of China's space information network. Up to now, Emposat has accumulatively provided paid services for 224 satellites/rockets.
