Recently, the 14th China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Conference hosted by the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Association was held in Beijing. Leaders from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, China Association for Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering and other relevant departments, academicians of the two academies, and more than a thousand representatives from the forefront of the national industry-university-research circle attended the conference. Emposat was invited to participate in related activities of the conference.
The meeting commended the advanced units and individuals who made contributions to the deep integration of industry, university and research in 2022. The research of "Emergency Avoidance Technology for Space Traffic Accidents" jointly completed by Emposat and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing Space Vehicle Overall Design Department, China Astronaut Research and Training Center, and Aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite Co., Ltd. won the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement first prize.
Emergency collision avoidance is an important means to maintain the order of space traffic. Whether it is the construction of space infrastructure such as space stations or other missions, it needs the escort of emergency avoidance technology for space traffic accidents. The innovative technical achievements of this project have been applied to 11 series of missions of the fifth and eighth aerospace institutes, effectively predicting and quickly avoiding the risk of on-orbit collisions, prolonging the service life of satellites, and providing key technologies for new business forms such as space traffic management support.
It is reported that the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation and Promotion Award is an annual award approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Science and Technology Award Office. It is organized and implemented by the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Association, and it is currently the only highest honor award in China for the combination of "government, industry, university and research funds".
