At 16:48 on April 2, 2023, the Tianlong-2 Yao-1 carrier rocket of the Chinese private rocket company Beijing Tianbing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Space Pioneer") was successfully launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. Emposat provided full-process Telemetry, Tracking & Command (TT&C) services for the Tianlong-2 Yao-1 carrier rocket.
After the rocket was launched, a 1.8-meter self-developed portable station deployed by Emposat in Jiuquan gave full play to the advantages of maneuverability, flexibility, and automatic north-finding, and provided data reception for the rocket after ignition to the first-level separation flight segment. At the end of the rocket's flight, the multi-functional integrated satellite ground station deployed by Emposat in Southeast Asia provided the rocket with TT&C of key passes before and after the separation of the satellite and the rocket. Relying on the joint TT&C network composed of "fixed ground station + portable station", Emposat successfully guaranteed the whole-process TT&C service of the rocket. In addition, it also provided users with real-time return service of high-definition video from the rocket perspective.
It is reported that this mission is the first show of the Tianlong-2 Yao-1 carrier rocket. The rocket is the first private liquid oxygen kerosene rocket in China. The rocket adopts the "three-level" test and launch mode, that is, horizontal assembly, horizontal testing, and horizontal transfer. It has low requirements for ground facilities, road transportation, and vehicle transportation in the launch area. It has good economical and practical capabilities.
Emposat has provided TT&C services for 12 commercial rockets. The TT&C service system is mature, stable and reliable, and can meet the TT&C needs of various types of rockets.
Up to now, Emposat has accumulatively provided paid services for 222 satellites/rockets.
